Breathe – Escape – Survive
AirForLife® is a purpose-designed emergency escape device which provides the user with a self-contained oxygen supply (22 litres) to aid in the escape from incidents such as an indoor fire or terrorist gas attack. In the event that escape is not possible, the device enables the user to safely breathe for a more prolonged period whilst awaiting rescue by the emergency services.
- air-for-life oxygen canister (22l) with hose and filtered mask
- cooling towel
- glow stick
- storage box
The accessory kit comprises a pair of premium goggles, a cooling towel and a glow stick to assist in the escape/rescue process. The goggles have wide vision, soft and flexible lens with an adjustable, wide headband. They are suitable for use in a hot environment and conform to the EN 166 standard. The cooling towel (10 x 75 cm) is designed from advanced PVA, super-evaporative, cooling technology, activated by running under cold water. It can be used as a neck wrap, or to cool any part of the body during the escape procedure. The glow stick is a long-acting, safety light stick (15 cm) based on Cyalume technology to generate a cool light once the stick is unwrapped, and activated, from its foil container. It can be attached via the hook, or hole, at one end of the accessory to provide hands-free operation.
AirForLife® contains 22 litres of oxygen in a 66 x 220 mm canister with flexible tubing (0.875 m) and conformable mask fitted with smoke and chemical filters, contained in an outer package.
